Harry is a Golden-hearted dog that originally arrived at Golden Gateway from Puerto Rico. This 2-year-old is a handsome boy, but he has been scared of humans; although in the time he’s been here, he’s showing improvement. His “stranger danger” is stronger with men. He’ll definitely need to go to a home with a mentor dog. Harry tested positive for heartworm and has completed the treatment. He walks well on leash, and we’re seeing him really warm up to some people. This guy needs an adopter who will go very slow and give him all the time he needs to come out of his shell and flourish.
