Available Dog

If this dog could talk… what a story! Rex #16 arrived from Puerto Rico. This 8-year-old Lab has been through a lot. He had an untreated leg break and his ear had been chewed by an iguana. When he arrived, he was grumpy — most likely due to pain. Since leg amputation surgery and plenty of TLC from staff and volunteers, he’s coming out of his shell and enjoys gentle petting and attention and has become a sweet dog. Rex has to go to a home with no dogs, no cats, and no kids. Having endured a rough life before arriving at Golden Gateway, this guy deserves a chance to be loved in a calm environment.

Rex’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor.
