Lexi #13 is a 5-year-old Golden that arrived from a puppy mill. She’s a nervous dog and trembles when meeting new people. Once she gets to know you, she’ll approach and take food/treats from your hand, and she especially likes high-value treats. She enjoys toys and lounging on her dog bed. Lexi does well with other dogs, but a lot of excitement makes her nervous. Ideally, a calm home with a mentor dog will be best for her. She needs work on leash walking and will need time to build confidence and gain trust.
