Available Dog

Libby #8 is one of the most frightened dogs we’ve seen at DVGRR. At first, she would panic and dart, plowing through anything in her way. She’s made some progress with medication and mentor dogs, but may still try to snap if cornered. She’s learning how to play with other dogs, and she plays with toys and eats well when she’s in her room at the Sanctuary with no one around. Lucy will now allow some staff to pet her but doesn’t approach willingly. She’ll need a unique adopter willing to work very slowly with her to help her feel safe and meet her needs.

Half of the adoption fee has been covered by a generous donor.
