Lacey #7 is a 5-year-old Golden that arrived from a puppy mill. She is very timid and is also very skittish around people. She does much better with people when she’s in the company of other dogs, so she will need to go to a home with a mentor to help her adjust. Lacey is fearful of the leash and also fearful about doorways — typical puppy mill survivor behavior. She’ll need plenty of time and patience to allow her to acclimate, build confidence, and gain trust in people.
