Roxy Jo is a young Golden that arrived at DVGRR from a puppy mill. This cute, little 1-year-old is very timid and skittish with people. She loves to play with other dogs and is good following them in and out. She generally won’t approach people even when she’s with other dogs, but we are seeing some improvement with people she knows. Roxy Jo will need a home with a mentor dog and a fenced yard. It is going to take time and a patient adopter to allow her to build confidence and gain trust.
