Mabel came from a neglectful situation and needs to develop social skills to adjust to life in a home, expanding on what we’re working on with her at the Sanctuary. She’s skittish and afraid of people, but she loves other dogs and will need to go to a home with a mentor dog. She currently doesn’t approach people on her own and we continue to work on that, but when she’s with dogs, we see her happy side come out and know she has great potential. Mabel is food motivated, which helps her gain more trust.
