Every dog that has passed through the doors at DVGRR has left a pawprint, filled our hearts, and coloured our world. As time goes on, we realize just what the dogs and our DVGRR family means to us.
Yes, there are times when the work we do can be very challenging and even heartbreaking. It’s always emotional. We’ve seen dogs in disgusting and revolting situations and conditions. Despite what we’ve seen and the challenges we’ve faced, the dedication of our staff speaks volumes. Through it all, our donors and supporters have been there for us, helping us through and enabling us to avoid the typical burnout and continue our important mission.
We want to share the love and dreams of continuing to move DVGRR forward and sustaining the organization we
ll into the future. Join us at the Gala as we “colour our world” with hope!
This wonderful event begins at 4:00 p.m. with our silent auction, raffles, mixing and mingling, along with your own chance to “colour our world” before the sit-down dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.
The event’s highlight is always the live auction, featuring one-of-a-kind, must-have items, and video inspired by the work we do and the support we receive.
In order to make the Gala a success, we need your help with and are looking for unique items for our auctions! Things like:
Unique experiences, vacation home or timeshares, private dinner or wine/beer tasting party, decorative theme baskets, gourmet food or cooking items/lessons, wine and liquor, home and garden items, outdoor furnishings/décor, professional services (e.g., interior design, cleaning, landscape planning, home improvement), electronics (e.g., iPad/iPod and accessories, laptop or notebook, flat screen television), round of golf, golf clubs or accessories, sporting equipment or autographed sports memorabilia, tickets to sporting events, team clothing, restaurant or hotel gift certificates, theater or concert tickets, wardrobe accessories
(e.g., jewelry, scarf, purse), spa gifts, or store gift cards.
In keeping with this year’s theme, “Colour My World,” think about creating a basket based on a favorite color. Baskets of similar colored items will add to the festive flair of the event!

RSVP deadline is March 28, 2025. Seating is limited and this event has sold out the past few years, so please be sure to make your reservation early. If you are a Golden Circle member, two tickets are included with your membership, so please email Karen (Karen@dvgrr.org) with your meal selections.

Colorful cocktail attire. Wear your favorite hue or the full spectrum of “colours” if you’d like. RiverCrest requests no denim.

We know your dog certainly “colours your world,” so share that love with a sponsorship. Each sponsorship includes an 8 x 10” print featuring your dog’s photo and name. These prints will be displayed at the Golden Gala, and you’re welcome to take your print home as a souvenir after the event!
Photo submissions are due by March 28, 2025 and should be emailed to inza@dvgrr.org with subject line: Gala Colour My World Dog, and include your name and your dog’s name in the email.
