Phinney's Phriends Internship Application

We are working with area colleges and universities for this non-paid internship program that is open to students studying in the areas of animal behavior, training, and vet tech. Interns will work in all areas of the rescue, including play times, dog walking and training, food prep, and our Project Home Life program. The internship includes working at Golden Gateway, and the program is managed by Paige Johnson, working in conjunction with other DVGRR staff.

Special thanks to the Rij family who is sponsoring this program in memory of their Golden, Phinney. And thanks to M&T Bank for the grant to initially launch this program.

We are thrilled to offer this program as part of our collaborative efforts, reaching out in our community and throughout our geographic footprint as well as providing additional care and enrichment for the dogs in our program.
