Nelly Jo is a 3-year-old mini Goldendoodle that arrived at DVGRR as a very scared, overly matted, and neglected dog. She was very timid with people until we matched her with other dogs. Then she began to run and play and approach people for treats and attention. She’ll need to go to a home with another playful dog as her mentor. It will take time for her to adjust to living in a home, but with patience and love she will do fine. Nelly Jo is a cute little girl.
