Samson #8 and Max #79 were surrendered by their previous owner due to a change in their living situation. While we don’t typically have Beagles at DVGRR, Samson is very bonded to Max (a Golden), so we took them both and they’ll need to be adopted together. Max (3-year-old) loves toys and food, especially treats which he’s good at catching. He loves people and attention. Samson is a typical Beagle with high prey drive. He’s very smart and will need plenty of enrichment. He’ll lean against you for attention. In fact, these two sometimes compete for attention, pushing each other out of the way for petting. They’ll need a careful match if there is already another dog in the home. Samson and Max are a really nice pair.
