Max #79 (along with Samson #8, a Beagle) were surrendered by their previous owner due to a change in their living situation. While we don’t typically have Beagles at DVGRR, Samson was very bonded to Max, so we took them both. We are now seeing that they can be adopted separately or as a pair. Max (3-year-old) loves toys and food, especially treats which he’s good at catching. He loves people and attention. He needs to learn manners, especially on leash as he’s very strong. While he can be adopted with Samson, if there is another dog in the home, Max will need a careful match.
