DVGRR REUNION OCTOBER 24, 2026
Join us for a tail-wagging adventure at our DVGRR Rescue Reunion Campout! Gather around the campfire with fellow alumni families, volunteers, and friends for a day filled with food, games, laughter, and Golden memories.
Enjoy delicious camp-inspired food, exciting raffles, fun-filled games for dogs and humans, and our crowd-favorite costume contest where campers and canines can show off their best outdoor, camping, or hilarious themed attire. From wagging tails to woodland trails, there’s something for everyone at this unforgettable reunion celebration.
Whether your pup is a happy camper, wilderness explorer, or chief treat inspector, come celebrate the joy of rescue, friendship, and the amazing dogs that bring us all together. Grab your flannel, pack your sense of adventure, and join us for a paws-itively fun day at camp!
We will begin the costume parade starting promptly at 11:30 a.m. We will have dogs and guests line up, and we’ll award the best costume contest winners at that time. Costumes this year can be your unique creations to keep with our CAMP/outdoor theme or any traditional Halloween costume will do!
There will be plenty of fun and games as well as food for sale and shopping at Pap’s Place. This event will be held rain or shine. We can’t wait to see everyone!
Sponsorships are also available and help us funnel more of the money we raise to where it’s needed most – the dogs! Sponsorships are a great way to honor or memorialize canines and humans, showing your Golden love and support. Sponsorship deadline is Oct. 10th. All sponsorships will be displayed on our website, Facebook page, and at the event.
Please RSVP to inza@dvgrr.org by October 10, 2026 with names of attendees (both human and canine). RSVP is not mandatory, but it does help with the planning. Volunteers are also needed for this event. Please email inza@dvgrr.org if you are interested in volunteering.
**** For everyone’s safety, we ask that each human attending handle only one dog ****
All dogs must remain on lead during the event; no flexis/retractable leases. For everyone’s safety (dogs and people), each dog MUST BE handled by one adult. We have had issues with dog fights and injuries that resulted from a single person attempting to handle more than one dog. Compliance failure could lead to liability issues and legal expenses for DVGRR. We reserve the right to deny access to any event or activity should any attendee arrive handling more than a single dog.
