Earn funds for DVGRR dogs with special online opportunities. Whether it’s shopping for your everyday needs or gifts, check out these resources that donate to DVGRR without increasing your costs. Also, there are some opportunities, like the Shelter Challenge, that just need you to vote daily for DVGRR, helping us to win prizes for DVGRR dogs. MariMar Remembrance Jewelry

We all love our pets and continue to do so after they cross the Rainbow Bridge. To keep them close forever, we’ve teamed up with MariMar Galleria, located in Lancaster, PA, to customize beautiful, one-of-a-kind jewelry from the ash of your beloved dog. Artists Scott and his wife, Jennifer will work with you to create your special design, and 50% of all sales will be donated back to DVGRR.

Each custom ring or other jewelry piece contains ash that has been finely ground and mixed with pure diamond dust and colors of your choice. Plus there’s a wide range of materials including gemstones, dinosaur bones, historic relics, and meteorite. In addition to the pet’s ash, parts of collars, shavings from a buckle, or parts of a dog toy can be added into the design material for an additional cost. Ring cores are made from tungsten and ceramic in 6mm or 8mm, and rings have the ability to glow in the dark. Free engraving of your dog’s name or date is also available.

To begin the order process, email info@marimargalleria.com and reference DVGRR. You can also call or text them at 717-696-9149. You’ll mail the ash either in a provided vial (available at Pap’s Place) or in double-bagged Ziploc baggie. (Unused ash will be returned to you.)

Rings begin at $300.00, with 50% donated to DVGRR. Rings are available in sizes 4-15, including half sizes. DVGRR also has ring sizers available if you need to determine your size.

In addition to their beautiful rings, MariMar Galleria specializes in inlay jewelry and has partnered with Warren Jewellers to offer other pieces, such as earrings or pendants. (Price for pieces other than rings can be discussed when ordering.)

A flat rate shipping/insurance fee of $10.00 will be added to each order.

Introducing Max & Neo Collars for Rescue

We are now a Rescue Ambassador for Max & Neo products. Max & Neo is a company that sells dog collars, leashes, and more, but most importantly, their mission is to support rescues.
As they say it, “Max and Neo is different because it was created to donate massively to rescues. It did not start as a dog collar business and then decide to donate a percentage of profits as a way to give back or as a marketing incentive. From day one, the question was how do we donate, what do we donate, and when do we donate.”
They donate collars and leashes directly to rescues like DVGRR. You can shop on their website, and DVGRR will receive 10 percent of your purchase for store credit at the Max & Neo website.
OR, you can actually purchase a donation box for DVGRR. There are three levels of donation boxes you can purchase to have shipped directly to us, and we ask that you specify “large” as the dog size, “nylon martingale” as the collar type, and “blue and pink” as the color. Please specify Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue at the “Choose the rescue for the donation” block.
Every dog arriving at Golden Gateway receives a pink or blue martingale collar. The dogs wear them until their adoption day. We ask adopters to purchase a new martingale collar for their new family member, so we can reuse the DVGRR collar. Regardless, we go through a lot of collars and would appreciate your support to help keep collars for the DVGRR dogs in stock.

The more people actively walking with the free Walk for a Dog app, the greater the donation to your selected animal organization! Use the app each time you grab for the leash. It’s healthy for you, your dog, and your favorite shelter or rescue.

Car Donations for Dogs

If there’s a new car in your future, please consider donating your used car or truck to DVGRR. It’s convenient and easy and may qualify you for a tax deduction. Best of all: Your used vehicle will make a huge difference to  DVGRR dogs!

80% of net proceeds are donated to DVGRR. All you need to do is complete a simple online form (or call at 1-866-628-2277), and Vehicles for Charity will take care of the rest. They will pick up your vehicle or arrange to have it towed and provide a tax-deductible receipt, all at no charge to you.

Want a fun way to support DVGRR if you live in Pennsylvania? How about a Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue specialty license plate?

The specialty plates can now be personalized! You can choose up to FIVE letters and numbers in combination. A hyphen or space is considered one of the FIVE characters. Only ONE hyphen or space is permitted. No additional special characters are available. When requesting a numeric character zero, please list as Greek letter Phi (O with a line through it) instead of the zero digit to reduce confusion with the letter “O.”

  • DVGRR and PennDOT have the right to reject certain requests.
  • DVGRR will continue to charge a $65.00 fee for a non-personalized DVGRR specialty plate. This will be a numeric plate assigned by PennDOT. (Include an additional $2.00 per registration card if you are requesting more than one card.)
  • Personalized specialty plates are $250.00. (Include an additional $2.00 per registration
    card if you are requesting more than one registration card.)
  • The cost of your plate only covers your plate, it does NOT renew your yearly registration fee.
  • All checks should be made payable to DVGRR, and a check must be mailed to DVGRR, 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds, PA 17569 along with the completed Application form (see link below). The Application Form must be completed in its entirety and include a signature. Sections B and C of the application will be completed by DVGRR. Please leave those sections blank.
    Plates and registration card will be mailed directly to you in 4-6 weeks (8-10 weeks for a personalized plates).

Jack’s Fund

In memory of Jack, a young dog that escaped from the car in 2018 on his way to his adoptive home and was hit by a car and did not survive. Proceeds from this fund will be used to purchase crates, seatbelt harnesses, long leashes, and/or GPS tracking collars for the trip to the new home. Staff will determine which (if any) items will be needed for each dog to ensure a safe trip home. Should you adopt a dog with need of any of these items, please be sure to follow our instructions. It is indeed a matter of life or death.
